The forums are a multi-thread discussion space for future editorial and instance-development plans. They are ordinary wiki pages in the Forum: namespace — watchable, searchable, in recent changes.

Boards

Board Purpose
Forum:Editorial plans Future editorial plans — content areas, outreach, language coverage, on-wiki conventions
Forum:Instance development Instance dev plans — extensions, namespaces, tools, CI/deploy, infrastructure

Starting a thread

  1. Open the board you want to discuss on (see the forum index).
  2. Click Start a new thread on the board, then replace My topic with your title.
  3. Write your post and save. The page is preloaded with the forum header and the board category, so the thread appears in the board's listing.

Replying

Replies are added below each post, indented with one colon per level. Sign your posts with SeedBot (talk) 14:15, 24 August 2026 (UTC) — in the Forum namespace the signature is added automatically.

House rules

  • Stay on topic; be civil.
  • Keep discussions on the forums, not on content pages.
  • Threads are wiki pages: watch them (star), link them, browse their history.
