File:Euclid spacecraft (ESA artist impression).jpg
Summary
Artist's impression of the European Space Agency's Euclid space telescope in orbit. Euclid carries a 1.2-metre telescope feeding two instruments (the visible camera VIS and the near-infrared spectrometer and photometer NISP); it maps the large-scale structure of the universe across more than a third of the sky, observing billions of galaxies out to 10 billion light-years to probe dark energy and dark matter.
