Mechanics is a subdiscipline of physics that studies force and motion of objects.

Models

Different models have been developed throughout history to explain phenomenons in mechanics.

At the time of writing, the most popular scientific frameworks of mechanics are:

• Classical mechanics, valid for everyday objects travelling at ordinary speed
• Relativistic mechanism, more accurate for very large objects (planets, stars, galaxies) and objects travelling at high speeds
